The Skill Missionaries Initiative

Teach what you've mastered. Change a life.

Skill Missionaries are highly skilled professionals who give their time to teach the next generation. They come to live at Pan-African Innovation City in Ibadan for at least two months — teaching a trade at one of our centers, mentoring young people, and helping solve real problems facing the continent. All we ask for is your time and your knowledge.

Empowering youth through vocational excellence and Christian values.

What we set out to do

Four objectives. One calling.

01 — Skill

Skill development

Equip young people with practical, marketable skills that build their employability and independence.

02 — Mentorship

Mentorship

Walk with young people as they navigate their craft, their careers, and their personal growth.

03 — Community

Community impact

Strengthen local economies and social bonds through skilled work and steady, positive role models.

04 — Christian living

Christian living

Exemplify the teachings of Christ through service, humility, and love — a lasting moral and spiritual impact.

How it works

From calling to community.

01

Selection

Experts in trades — from automotive to fabrication, tailoring, and more — are chosen for their skill, experience, and values.

02

Preparation

Missionaries are trained for cultural integration, effective teaching, and community engagement.

03

Live & teach at PIC

You live at Pan-African Innovation City for at least two months, teaching your trade at one of the centers and helping solve real problems.

04

Ongoing support

The program provides continuous resources and support so every missionary can thrive in their mission.

Why it matters

Youth unemployment is a challenge across the continent. Practical, market-ready skills are a real answer to it.

Because missionaries live and teach at Pan-African Innovation City, side by side with the people they serve, they build genuine trust and a lasting connection. The result is impact that is both immediate and enduring — ripples of economic and social good that outlast any single season.

The heart of it

Service in the way of Christ.

Humility, compassion, and love — lived daily, not just spoken.

So the impact is not only economic, but human, and lasting.

A trade can change a life. Lived with grace, it can change a community.
